Manager Breach & Whistleblowing Governance – Compliance

As our Manager Breach & Whistleblowing Governance, reporting to the Head of Incident, Breaches & Whistleblower Governance, you will develop and implement strategies to achieve high quality compliance programs, particularly in relation to breach reporting, to position The Star Entertainment Group as a socially responsible corporate citizen.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will contribute to shaping and sustaining a robust compliance framework within The Star Entertainment Group.

 

A few of your responsibilities:  

  • Support the Head of Incident, Breaches and Whistleblower Governance in relation to breach reporting processes including providing oversight of breach process, coordinate Breach Assessment Committee meetings, review and challenge corrective actions, track breaches through to closure and prepare insights and reporting for senior committees and executive stakeholders.
  • Monitor incoming whistleblower reports received via the Rely Platform, both directly from employees or via the Your Call hotline operators where reports are raised over the phone
  • Respond to whistleblower reporters to acknowledge receipt and confirmation their report is being reviewed.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Ability to assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of compliance programs in complex regulatory environments
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Capability to review and evaluate compliance processes and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Experience supporting a change management program and to challenge the status quo.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role in a complex operational organisation or equivalent compliance experience.
