As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, your enthusiasm for creating unforgettable guest experiences will position you as a vital member of our leadership team, overseeing and assisting team members throughout their shifts. Your commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will be evident as you mentor and develop the team, while also providing insightful recommendations to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in leading the team in one of our many venues at The Star Gold Coast, including our Signature and Casual Dining restaurants, as well as our variety of Resort Bars, Casino Bars and Private Gaming Rooms.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team on shift and assist with training, development and performance management
  • Set daily performance objectives for the team and supervise the service flow and performance standards
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
  • Assist the Venue Manager to support achievement of financial and operational targets
  • Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between shifts
  • Monitor the quality of food & beverages to service to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials 

What are we looking for:

  • Supervisory experience within in a similar busy hospitality environment including a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
  • Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
  • Flexible availability to meet the venue operating hours 
  • Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment
