The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.
This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor position is a hands on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of F&B outlets. The role will enable you to improve guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism. You will oversee and assist F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlets are prepared and organised to meet business requirements.

A few of your responsibilities
- Supervise team members and assist the leadership team with any training and development needed for team members
- Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure high standards are always maintained
- Ensure a high level of guest experience is always provided in the venues and is professional, hospitable, timely, effective, and efficient
- Set specific daily performance objectives for all team members and supervise the service flow
- Make recommendations to the Venue Manager that will assist in maximising revenue and minimise costs to meet company and division budgets
What we are looking for
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in a similar role, managing large teams with confidence and effectiveness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment while juggling multiple tasks seamlessly
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
- Have 24/7 availability and adaptability to various scheduling needs
- Expertise in building rapport with a diverse range of guests, ensuring exceptional experiences for everyone
About you
Do you thrive in a dynamic, high-energy atmosphere where every interaction creates a memorable experience? You will have proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your ability to lead, mentor and encourage your team. Your thorough understanding of RSA compliance coupled with your RSA Certificate, will see you create a safe environment for guests and team members alike.
You’ll bring a track record of Food & Beverage leadership, preferably in high volume bars, restaurants, or hotels, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire teams. Communication is your forte, effortlessly connecting with a diverse range of guests to create memorable guest experiences.
